Everybody wants a pulpit ministry but all do not want to pay the price. Some are
up ministering but have not paid the price no matter what is seen, or heard or felt by the congregation. It is the the things
seen in the spirit realm, the intercessors that can see and cover what God is doing. It is all in the spirit realm that we
are dealing with.
When we walk in the door of the church, we are unfortunately in the flesh, we really
are. However, there is a sifting or a change so to speak where we move from the flesh to the Spirit. We have all seen ministers
speaking in the flesh, oh, they may be hollering but are not in the level of the spirit that is needed. What is the need of
the hour. There are so many sitting in the pew hurting, sorrowful, depressed, discouraged as never before. Even ministers
under such major attack while we sit in church playing church, sleeping.
An intercessor, many don't know the terms or even what it means. We wonder why we don't
have a move of God. Well, it's simple NO INTERCESSORS. Where are they, well, it's not popular, visible, or even commendable.
However, it is mandatory.
I have had great men of God say they don't pray much, they rely on their wives.
Such a shame, you can't rely on someone else. We are at the front of the battle lines and the enemy has his eye on many in
the body of Christ.
Could the blessing that Jacob (Israel) placed on Joseph's two sons Manessah and Ephraem
be compared to or symbolized as the church and the country Israel. The Younger was blessed, not the older, this is in it's
reversed state.
Another words, what we think is glamorous or blessed of God is not necessarily what God
has really blessed. Case in point, it is the intercessors, the younger insignificant ones God is looking at. He placed
us in a position where we think we have figured Him out but all the sudden, we don't know nothing but are mere children.
We can only have a move of God when the office of the intercessors is reinstituted back
to the house of God.
Heroes are those we look up to because of something commendable they have done, or seen
or publicized. Intercessors, those who are the spiritual ones who call down the move of God, see in the spirit realm and bind
and loose what is needed in the hour. I don't see many now days. They use to call them Mothers in Zion. The black churches
call them mothers because of there spiritual covering.
It brings me back to the subject of YOUTH. Are they todays spiritual intercessors. God
is using to pull down and call for a radical move of God. Those you see are either RED HOT OR LUKE WARM. I don't see many
in between. Maybe because the world has so much to offer our youth.
I believe they seem to be todays intercessors and don't even know it. Praying for there
generation and holding on as we use to say to the horns of the altar. Wow, what happened to that phrase today.
Can God really still split the heavens and come down as we have never seen. I believe it is a must to today's generation.
Again, to much is offered to them at other places, Internet, x-boxes, and etc..........
I see in our youth today a fire, a commitment I have never seen before. If a church
does not have youth, they are hurting. When a young person is radically saved, they do not have the indoctrination that we
older ones have. Another words, the way it use to be. It is not that God is changing, it is that He is alive, breathing so
to speak and always doing something new and exciting.
That is what todays youth need, excitement, radical praise, commitment, and something
to live for. And when one gets it, they do not want to sit back and dictate or dominate, they want to get involved (participate).
Which brings me back to my subject of intercession. Get a youth on fire and the church
will become a flame for God's presence.
I remember preaching my heart out not long ago at a guest church to everyone on
salvation for our families and a burden for there lost. The older ones including the pastor sat there sitting on his hands
and some even yawning. I was shocked and began to blame myself for maybe it was ME not getting to them. At the end of the
service, the youth came out just through practicing drama and sat for the end of the service. I stopped preaching and
gave an altar call for those who wanted there family to be saved. You should have seen the youth, they came running to the
altar. Hands lifted, crying, weeping, falling on the floor sobbing and asking me to pray for my Daddy, he is not saved. Pray
for my mother, she left my daddy the other day. God began to move so powerfully. As we all prayed in the altars and wept,
I looked out over the congregation and low and behold, the rest of the congregation left out the door yawning. Thank God for
the youth, the young, inspired intercessors. It taught me a great lesson, you can have what you are willing to fight for.
These kids are still serving God and on fire as never before. They are my inspiration.
While in this service, there was even a lady there who was suicidal and did not want
to live through the night. Have we missed it, so concerned about getting a word from a Prophet, a personal prophecy and fail
to see the hurting even in our church. Let God raise up intercessors.
And so I see today, in my church, young people on fire wanting a move of God. Not something
fake or fantasy, something real and rewarding. Wanting to be involved and taught the Word, feed me Jesus. Wanting to go to
the church and pray every night, practice drama and do something for the King.
Thank God for our youth, they are todays intercessors and seeking the face of God, not
His hand.
Blessings,
